JT Spectra Google Buying Guide
JT ProFlex
- This mask is known to almost any paintball player, as they have been heavily popular since their creation. This mask excells in almost all categories but outpeforms other masks specifically in breathability, comfort, and customizability. The great breathability is due to flexible bottom skirt, it features an abundance of cutouts to aid in breathing. Also this skirt is effective at catching bounces, which will keep you in the game longer. All Spectra masks are extremely comfortable, this is due to the great face foam they use. Customization is one of the great features of the ProFlex. Since the masks have been around for almost ten years there are many differen colors of mask components available for the ProFlex. You can get upgraded lenses, frames, nose pieces, straps, and soft ears all in specific color combinations.
JT Flex 8
- JT offers a second high end goggle system in the Flex 8. It may not be quite as customizable as the ProFlex, but the Flex 8 shares some key features with the ProFlex. Among those similarites are the thermal lens and foam. The thermal lens is important because it eliminates goggle fogging, while the foam is there to provide you with comfort. When buying a JT paintball mask you expect quality and performance, and the Flex 8 is no exception.
Lenses and Accessories
- Paintball is generally a lot more fun when you can see properly. Nearly all players have experianced goggle fogg, and has had it negatively impact their day. Goggle fog can be easily avoided by having a thermal lens. However there are some problems that just a thermal lens just cant fix, like the sun. When playing in a bright setting it is crucial to have a mirrored or smoke lens. These lenses can deflect the suns rays, and keep the sun from distracting you. Mirrored lenses are the most popular, as they provide a flashy look to them.
- While thermal lenses are the fix for most players that experiance fogging, some players still experiance it when wearing the best masks (players with correctional lenses especially), these players should try a fan.
